Advertised Search & Selection

Advertised search and selection is the strategy applied to roles that cover junior through to intermediate and sometimes quite senior roles. It is most effectively employed when there is a large pool of candidates in the market for the role being recruited.

We work with our clients to create a detailed specification for the role and then draft suitable advertising copy. Depending on the nature of the role we determine the most appropriate vectors for the advertising campaign, be it newspapers, jobs boards, social media or a combination.

We then carefully screen all applicants and conduct comprehensive and detailed interviews with those that we consider suitable for the role. Based on each candidate’s application, their experience in relation to the available role and our assessment of their likely cultural suitability to our client’s business, we draw a shortlist of candidates for the client to consider. Beyond this we arrange interviews, provide feedback to both clients and candidates, reference check candidates, negotiate offers and secure acceptance.
