DIY Recruitment

DIY Recruitment is an innovative service that we have offered predominantly to our small and medium sized clients since 2013. It offers a way to dramatically slash the cost of recruitment.

DIY Recruitment supports clients in their own recruitment efforts, doing the heavy lifting in terms of devising and executing an advertising strategy, screening and respectfully communicating with all applicants, making the recruitment process much more manageable and cost effective for over stretched line managers and human resources teams.

In real terms it means our clients have the manageable task of dealing with five to ten applicants, rather than wrestling with maybe a hundred applications in their inboxes and dealing with hopeful applicants following up by telephone and email.

ORS ensures all applicants receive respectful and timely communication thereby protecting the reputation of our client as a potential future employer for both the unsuccessful candidates and others with whom they may share their job search experiences.

ORS charges a flat fee for the DIY Recruitment service. Using this fee for service, rather than fee for success model, more than one applicant can be hired without incurring additional fees.  Whilst DIY Recruitment has a success rate of over 93%, in the event the client is unsuccessful in hiring a suitable candidate and decides to brief ORS to execute a more comprehensive strategy, ORS will credit the DIY Recruitment fee against the final fee for the complete recruitment assignment.

Executive Search

Executive search is an area of particular strength in the range of services offered by ORS for more than two decades. It is a nuanced process and in order to be successful must go far beyond merely identifying and contacting suitable targets for a particular role.

Advertised Search & Selection

Advertised search and selection is the strategy applied to roles that cover junior through to intermediate and sometimes quite senior roles. It is most effectively employed when there is a large pool of candidates in the market for the role being recruited.
